As a teacher in makabayan preferably hekasi, i always tell my pupils everytime gone to historical place. And i realy love natures. Last Holly Week April 8-11, 2009. I was so excited bec. i go to Mt. Apo which is the hieght mountain in the phil. We used the Kidapawan Trail so we registered our names as “manaka ta bay” hikers and they give us breifings the does and don’t when using thier trail. We walked 1 1/2 hrs we climed 3 hrs to reach the “Coong” the 1st camp site. We take our lunch and stared to climed at 12nn. Climbing, bagging, rappelling and rock climing and any thing we to reach the next camp site. I survived the 87degrees trail. On the way, how nice to look at the hige trees, the big and long vines hanging on the trees. The algae on the ground and on the body of the trees was so thick I hear the sound of the creakets and the slashing of the air on the leaves and branches of the trees. We reach the Venado Lake the camp site of the mountainers. It was so cold every one should cover thier body thick clothings. In the place where we put our tent i saw the peak of the Mt. Apo. And i ask my self while looking at “Can i make it?” and i answered my self ”ajah!!!”. We rest on the next day. On the third day the journey started again. We climed, we crawled, we used grasses and roots to pushed me up.
